New Orleans Residency

In October 2020, No Tears Project ventured to New Orleans for a performance, panel, and masterclass, presented in partnership with New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, events that were originally scheduled to be live and in-person were streamed online instead from Marigny Studios in New Orleans. Outreach events included a civil rights panel discussion (featuring among others, Kidd Jordan, and moderated by Gwen Thompkins), a music workshop for students at University of New Orleans, and a full concert.
