On September 25, 2023, No Tears Project Ensemble performed a concert in Little Rock, AR co-presented in partnership with the Central High School National Historic Site, National Park Service, Oxford American, and the City of Little Rock in honor of the Little Rock Nine, commemorating the 66th anniversary of their desegregation of Central High School.

Additionally, Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. made a proclaimation at the event, naming September 25, 2023 "Little Rock Nine Day" in the City of Little Rock. Five members of the Little Rock Nine were in attendance, including Minijean Brown Trickey, Terrence Roberts, Elizabeth Eckford, Carlotta Walls Lanier, and Thelma Mothershed Weir.
